Great website to order carseats
Ainsley has outgrown her carseat, so we ordered a Britax Marathon here. They have free shipping and a little more selection than our local stores.
I linked to this video a few months ago. I don't know why I feel like it is so important to get "it" out there, but in case any of you are looking for a great seat that you can still have in a rear-facing position in the car, check out the ones on the website. The one the Mom mentions in the video is also available on that site and goes all the way to 80 lbs.

Carseats
More carseat drama. Makes me never want to drive with her in the car.

I am too damn busy to have a book club, but here are two I really liked!
Okay, so I don't have any resolutions . . . but I know I need to be reading more. It is so soothing to be able to sit down for a little while after Ainsley is in bed and read and unwind from the day. The past few days of her being sick (again) were difficult because I never really got to do that and since being on vacation, I have been devouring books lefts and right. (Must be making up for all of that time of not being able to read during pregnancy because I just wanted to sleep!)
Anyway, if anyone is interested, I just finished two books by Emily Giffin. I know you can't judge books by their covers, but they appealed to me in the bookstore last week, so I purchased them and found them to be great! She really makes you feel like you know the characters well and I like how she made a "sequel" to the first book, but from a different character's point of view. Anyway, if you are interested, here is her My Space page. The first book is called Something Borrowed and the second is Something Blue. I don't have the third one yet, which I don't think is connected to the first two, but it is called Baby Proof. If you are looking for a description, it is kind of Sex-in-the-City-ish. Let me know what you think!

Carseat safety
My friend Brandy sent me this link that I am going to share with you in hopes that you will use the valuable information and/or pass it on to other friends with small children. I, too, have heard a lot of talk about how children have to go into a booster seat once they reach 40 pounds, but this is not true. Please watch the video and you will understand why. You will need kleenex.

You may have to cut and paste the link - can't get the link key to work.

Shape of a mother
My dear friend Kathy who delivered her second child almost three months to the day before Ainsley arrived sent me this link.
All I can say is . . . wow. There are some great pictures on the site. It really puts it into perspective what our bodies go through when we have children. It is so worth every stretch mark.

Great site for Moms (*with daughters)
Because my little one has what I like to refer to as Don-King-esque hair, I have been throwing a headband on her here and there, but have yet to find any I love. So, I searched online and found this site. I just got my package today and LOVE the headbands. All of the bows have a little clip and you can interchange them dependant on the outfit. Very high quality, so check it out! (They also have about nine million different colors to choose from!)
